Letecia Stauch has been found guilty of murdering her stepson.

On Monday, an El Paso County jury convicted Letecia Stauch of the murder of her 11-year-old stepson in 2020.

Stauch was found guilty on all counts, including first-degree murder, murder of a child under 12 by a person in a position of trust, tampering with physical evidence, and tampering with a deceased human being.

Letecia Stauch is a 36-year-old former teacher from Colorado Springs.

During the trial, she pleaded not guilty because of insanity. One expert claimed that Leticia Stuch suffers from dissociative identity disorder and was insane when she allegedly killed her stepson, Gannon.

Leticia is said to have stabbed Gannon 18 times before hitting him in the head and then shooting him once.
