Born in the United States on February 25, 1949, Ric Flair is a former professional wrestler. Flair had a 50-year career and was hailed as the greatest professional wrestler of all time by numerous peers and the media.
He received the Wrestler of the Year honor from PWI a record six times and a record eight times from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (an honor named in his and Lou Thesz’s honor). He was the first member of The Four Horsemen to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, in 2012 and 2008, respectively.
